Breathed Out............
The bozzes/lawyers are back from high court. They need lunch,
something quick, something light....like sandwiches and then they
need to discuss work and goes off to court again around 2pm.
I rushed downstairs, order 2 teh tarik to be collected for my bozz
when I get back. Rushed to another shop, (the lawyer says its
becoming quite good). order the sandwiches and some muffins.
Stood there, waiting.....
Then rush back.
The teh tarik, they give to other people, straight in front of my
eyes! Whats worse was they are giving to the wrong table and I
immediately followed up with, Okay, bring it up with me!
Then i walked fast to my lift.....and the slow server never
follows.
I turn around, I saw the bozz of the indian coffee shop and asked:
Where's my teh tarik? he replied its there waiting at the table. he
turns....didnt see it and then reply me that he will send it
up.
I rushed upstairs, pulled out the sandwiches and found the fillings
have all shifted and I had a hard time putting those wet fillings
back onto the veggies! They farking hell put the fillings onto the
lettuce and tomatoes and it shifted since they arent anchored on
the bread focacia!
Pulled out the muffins and found only 2 chocolate muffins when I
ordered 4, 2 being chocolate!
Was so cheesed off!
Then rush into the bozz office and apologize and explained that the
shops people apparently cant be rushed!
Then my bozz tells me to check the binding machine, they left a set
of stuffs to be binded for me.
I rushed out and found a senior lawyer puttings the docs for
binding. I nearly died of embaressment! It's my job and he is doing
it for me!
Then the indian shop fella came up with the teh tarik.....in
disposable cups! I told him straight. The teh tarik for my bozz,
can serve in disposable cups? And give him a ultra black face. That
server is nepalese by the way, and seeing my expression, caught
on.
I turned to my lawyer at the binding machine. Thank him profusely,
grab the document, bring into bozz office. The nepalese guy also
had the sense to rush downstairs and came upstairs again with the
teh tarik in glasses.
I was at that time on the phone with the sandwich shop and trying
not to be too nasty about my feedback. I am sure that manager can
feel me very angry thru my terse voice.
I have half the mind to actually take my leisurely lunch later with
the sandwich shop, but now....too angry at them.
